I want to tell you about a way the you can make some extra cash typing from home. Now I am going to let you know a head of time that it's not going to get you rich or even close by any means but, if you want to you can make some extra money typing from home.
You see the internet is all about content. People want to know things. The want original material just as they do on TV. Television shows, although a lot have reruns, also have a lot of new material. Why? Because they have a team of writers working behind the scene constantly coming up with new material.
So how does this apply to you? You can start to earn money from home being a writer, just like the ones on TV, for website directories and site owners owners. It can be come tiring to say the least trying to come up with all of your own content sometimes when you write articles to get traffic to you website, in addition to providing fresh content on your own.
Some website owners will pay you as much as 5 dollars or more just for writing articles to submit to directories in order to get traffic. While others will pay 10 to 20 dollars or more for you to post content on there website.
Here's a couple of places to get started: ehow.com (pays per views)and associated content (pays per article)
You can also find a lot of work to do in popular webmaster forums and internet marketing forums as well. Again it's not going to make you rich but it will give you a place to start working from home and will give you the opportinity to earn a little extra cash.

The Day I Decided to Outsource
I’ve been refining numbers and containing my reading and what I’ve found so far is that maybe 90 percent of what I’ve read so far is stuff I already know, however I will say this. Even though the books I’ve been reading contain some of the same information it definitely helps to see things in a different perspective.
When you look at something through the eyes of others it does nothing but confirm your own suspicions. In other words you may have thought you were right before but now you feel more confident in your direction because others just like you have already been down that path before and they now leaving a trail for you to follow. Additionally the other 10% of what you learn that’s new ads to your knowledge. Now it’s time to apply it.
With that being said we are going to talk about outsourcing. If you read my last post you would’ve learned that I article marketing, at least for me, had been the most profitable, in terms of leverage. It’s been the most effective way of marketing for me thus far. However it’s also been the most time consuming as well.
So I’ve decided to start buying articles. Although I would never buy articles for this blog (and you shouldn’t either) it will work out for me in more than one way. For one it will save me time and effort, all though I can write a three to five hundred word article in 10 or 15 minutes(this was after a lot of practice). Additionally it frees up time for me to continue to research other areas of internet marketing I’m not too familiar with and fine tune areas that am good at.
After all I want to create a business, not another job.
That’s it for now.

Outsourcing Article Writing Services vs. PPC
People who read your article are more likely to visit your website because you are pre-selling them with content. They are also more likely to buy your product because you have already given them valuable information on your site in which they may be able to use and apply instantly to start making profits.
This will cause them to want more buy creating perceived value in the product or service that you are offering . The exception is with PPC and people who are what’s called compulsive buyer. You should focus on there keywords that would indicate such actions like quickly, fast, and now.
With this in mind PPC can help you with those type of keywords or help you with people who are desperately in need of some sort of solution. If you are using PPC there are other ways that you can profit, for example CPA’s where a affiliate partner will basically pay you for having someone complete a simple form.
That brings us to the next question which is whether or not you should outsource someone for writing your articles or if you should use money on PPC?
$5.00 and article x 25 articles = $125 (you can negotiate down to 3 or 4 dollars per article in most cases)
I recently looked at my ezine account and showed that out of roughly 955 Views there were 108 URL clicks. That’s roughly a 10% CTR(average). Pretty good and it’s for FREE.
On average 2 to 3 percent is what is expected with PPC campaigns (With Acceptations)
But let’s still consider the alternative which is PPC.
It’s a little different with PPC because you only pay when someone clicks or an add so lets say you are going to pay the same amount (all other factors considered equal) $125.00. At $125.00 worth of PPC cost assuming that you are paying .10 - .20 cent’s per click (you will pay a LOT more in competitive niches). 125.00 / .15(average) = 833 views.
It seems like article marketing is the clear winner here.

Earning Money Online Basics
Making Money Online Basics: Keyword Research
Let's start off from where we left off from my last post "How to make money online for Free" a few days ago. But before I get started I just have a quick word of advice. Now this blog is called "earn extra cash online for beginners," but it really should be called - make money online. You may start off just making a little spare cash, but eventually if you stick with it you will start to make some real money.
Things are starting to come together a bit more for me and I'm starting to make sales on a regular basis now. It's been a long journey so far and I think I'm finally seeing that light at the end of the tunnel. With that being said let me share some of what I've learned in the past six months or so as far as keywords are concerned.
Here are some general rules I use. I actually posted this on a forum the other day as well, but it's was just a quick cut and paste on the form so I've added a little more detail.(BTW, I'm known as 9tail there just if anyone thinks I'm stealing content)
Keep in mind all of these factors must be took into consideration for best results so without further delay here's my formula for success with Keywords:
Volume – Search Engine Traffic volume. You want to have more than just a trickle the more the better. The problem is that the more traffic you have the more competition you have.
So if you are using Article marketing as you're weapon of choice then you might not want to go above a certain amount of competing sites. I'll get to that a bit later. The most sites I've competed with and been able to achieve first page results for is 450,000 (so far).
Advertising Competition (Pay per click Cost) – How much are your competitors paying per click? The more the better of course. You should be able to figure that out buy using the google keyword tool here. Additionally you also want to check the amount of traffic as far as the amount of searches per month are concerned as well. Again the general rule here is that the more the better, however when you have more traffic searches you'll have more competition most of the time.
Site Competition – As I said in my last post use the search in google with quotes like this: "keyword" to find the number of competing sites. You may want to start off low to begin with. Maybe Ten to fifteen thousand to begin with. Or Four to five thousand if you are completely new to IM (internet marketing).
Keyword Relevance – Are the people searching for your keyword buying or just looking for information. Check sites and make sure they are selling something there already. If not you need to choose better keywords.
Price Point (Thinking Like a Consumer) – What type of buyer is typing in the keywords? Are the people searching for your keywords able to afford the products you are selling? For example, people who want to buy golf clubs are likely to have money. What else will they be searching for online besides golf clubs? Maybe golf tips? Are there affiliate programs for that? Probably... The point is different people use different keywords at different price points. You have to match the type of keywords to the price point of a particual type of buyer.
Allmost ready to get started? Well the first step is to go to blogger.com if you don't have a site already. Create an account and we'll pick up where we left off the next time. The faster you get started, the faster you be able to start making money.

Making Money Online Basics
How to make money online for FREE
Making money online can be simple if you want it to be, or it can be hard (or as some like to call it free). I’m not saying that you can’t make money online for free, I’m just saying if you don’t invest in your education the money you will make is not going to be worth it.
Have you ever tried some of these survey sites or get paid to sites? Is it worth 10 to 15 minutes of your time for a mere two or three dollars? To me it’s not. Well, with that being said I’m going to tell you the short version of how to make money online for free.
What’s popular right now on the internet is IM or internet marketing. It’s not really all that new however, and people have been doing it for years. The first step in internet marketing is finding a product. For this all you have to do is go to your favorite search engine and type in affiliate programs plus the type of product you’re looking for. As I said in my last post one of the industry leaders in affiliate programs is clickbank.com.
They have thousands of products that you can get paid to promote. Some people argue that you have to do your keyword research first, which can be true and may be right, however you can do it in whatever order you feel fit. I like to look for products first because I can usually have somewhat of a feel for whether or not the niche I’m considering is highly competitive.
Either way keyword research will only take me about 10 to 15 minutes so it won’t affect me that much (you may take longer if you’re a beginner). I mean it’s much harder for you to create a product then it is to find potential key words that you can use promote a product (at least in my opinion). If you are a beginner however, I’d recommend starting with Keyword research first.
This is important because when you’re just starting out, you know nothing about selling stuff online. You’re swimming against sharks in an ocean of information. Choose the wrong keywords and you will be wasting your time.
A good way to check and see if your keyword(s) are good is to type your search phrase into Google and see what types of sites are in the top ten. Are they just information sites or are they trying to sell you something. If there the later of the two then it might be something you want to investigate further.
Another thing that you need to do is to check out the number of sites in your competition. You can do this buy searching in Google with quotes like this: “Keyword Here” is in quotes. This basically gives you your competition in short.
All of this research goes hand in hand in SEO, forum marketing, article marketing, PPC (pay per click) advertising and search engine marketing in general. You don’t want to spend lots of your time focusing on trying to get page one results only to find out the key words you’ve chose are worth less than noting. Bottom line is don’t waste time. I’ll Talk more about keyword research in my next post. I’ve got to get up for work in a few hours, so we can pick up were we left off there.

How to Earn Extra Cash Online
There are many ways to earn extra cash online. Back when ebay first got started people rushed to start making money on the internet. However there's too much competition now and everyone nowadays is going online to capitalize on the many affiliate programs that are available to earn cash from.
The problem that most people have that are getting started in internet marketing is not that they lack the effort it takes to make money on the internet, it's that they lack the direction.
There are so many people trying to earn money online and so much competition that there are many people who would prefer that you not try and take there place. You have to be careful with who you listen to because it could cost you a lot of time or money.
This blog is an experiment on SEO or search engine optimization. I am trying to get this blog to the first page of the search engines with SEO. SEO is the process of optimizing your site for the search engines to make it easier for people to find.
This isn't as easy as you might think. Although it's not as hard either. No one knows for sure the exact formula for the first pages but hopefully I can figure it out. Why do you ask? Because the first page of the search engines equals traffic. Traffic=cash. It's you 're life line on the internet.
For now though there are plenty of ways to make money online and I'll show you the different methods you can use so start making money quickly.
First things first though. What you want to do for now is research the different affiliate programs that you may be interest in starting. Affiliate programs pay you for promoting there product or service. You get paid a percentage of each sale, and most are free to join.
Well that's it for now. If you want to get a better idea of how affiliate programs work I'd suggest going to Clickbank.com. This is probably the most well know site for affiliate and internet marketers.
I'll talk more about SEO in future post however, there are so many different ways to earn money on the internet that it's easy to get caught up and even fascinated on getting to the first page. The problem is that you will waste a lot of time like I have trying to figure it out when you could be using other methods to make money. That's why it's important to focus on other ways to get traffic.
This is important because while the other people are focusing on optimization you can be concentrating on how to earn easy money. Now I'm not saying that you are going to make money quickly. Slow down for a minute. It will take you some time before you become an internet money making guru.
But eventually you will learn how to make easy money. You just have to crawl before you walk. Don't fall into the hype online and listen to those who say that making money is easy. Just learn how to earn extra money online first.
Take your time learn all of the different areas of internet marketing. When you do this you will have built a solid foundation for the future. After you learn how to earn extra money online then you can think about becoming the next internet millionaire.
